HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARISA!!

We are so happy to celebrate Marisa's birthday today! From the time my children were small, I prayed that God would choose a wonderful person to be their future mate. God definitely answered that prayer with Marisa. She was the first woman brave enough to step into the role of a son's/grandson's wife in our family, and what a blessing she is. Her love and compassion encourages us to be better people, and her quiet strength is a shining example of her unbending faith in God, and his loyal commitment to surround her with his love, comfort and grace.

We love you Marisa. Sometimes that "love" can be so loud and crazy that it overwhelms you. Sometimes it is given as just a quiet prayer. But you are SO loved and appreciated for the wife, mother, daughter, and friend that you are. We thank God for you today and everyday!

Happy Birthday Allie Bug!

Today, we celebrate God's love for us in the blessing of our precious Allie Michal Taylor who is one year old today. Allie, who spent her first six months of life quietly observing, has grown into a beautiful toddler who has definite opinions, a very vocal and cheerful personality, a sweet spirit, and a furrowed brow stare that shows extreme discernment. She is a joy to love and spend time with. And what a snuggle bunny. Awwwww. She is such a happy soul. A delight!

Hugging Allie makes the world feel right. Thank you God for our girl, Allie Bug.

Happy Mother's Day Nee Naw

She may be small but she is powerful. The direction and guidance that she has given throughout my life has definitely influenced the kind of person I choose to be today. Her intense love has blanketed this family and provided a protective shelter over us in the most difficult times. She has embraced us, pushed us, supported us and enjoyed us. We have watched her leap into life with joy and laughter, and that example has encouraged us to do the same. We are not a shy group, mainly because she has shown us the advantages of being friendly and kind. She taught us the disciplines that God wants us to follow. God has used her to help make each one of us what we are today. Every person we touch, every soul we impact, it all started with her- Her faithful love of our Lord and her loyal, protective commitment and love of our family.

We honor her on mother's day, as we should every day! Happy Mother's Day Mom!

CONGRATS TO LOO

Congratulations to Lindsey Loo who has received an invitation to be an associate at a dental office in Texas. God is taking good care of her and we are very grateful!

GREAT DAY!!!

It was a great day this past Sunday. The family (all but Bryan and Tonya) gathered to celebrate the birthday of Brandon and the engagement of Brentley and Lindsey. We welcomed special guest/family, Aunt Ellen and Uncle Russ from Texas. We congregated to eat, of course, and to converse on all of the activities and "going ons" in everyone's life. Despite the severe weather warnings, we were able to have a wonderful time. Relaxing and comfortable. And of course, we missed Bryan and Tonya.

Allie was enjoying the attention and entertainment, as was NiNi. The adults enjoyed the desserts (THANKS NEE NAW).

It was cloudy outside, so after a stuffing of chicken enchiladas, olive cheese rice and salad, not even coffee could keep us all from being sleepy. So we lounged and yammered.

Family time is the best! Thank you God, for a wonderful family!

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Brandon. We love him so much and are so grateful to call him father, husband, brother, grandson, nephew and son! He adds so much love and support to our family (and, of course, the humorous commentary on everyday events). We are proud of the man he has chosen to be and thank God that he blessed our family with Brandon!
